I tried to mix some tempera grassa, but I can never get the mayonnaise consistency.
Knowing that I shouldn’t, I used that for a background to a planned colored pencil drawing.
The paint stayed gooey.
I got out an old starter set of water-mixable oils and painted my daylily and background. I just didn’t want to throw it in the trash.

Paint, I have missed you.
Next time, I’ll paint a background with one of my duck egg yolks. No added oil.
My phthalo blue pigment is a messy problem, though.
