The paper is a Bienfang spiral pad of 40 sheets of mixed media paper, 9in. x 12in., 90 lb./146gsm. It costs around 16 pennies per sheet (U.S.). It’s really flimsy, but I brushed some matte medium onto it and that stiffened it. Enough so that I was able to practice on it. Actually, it’s flat enough to be displayed with a backing board.
I might soften the shadow and blacks and keep it!
